JIJI (jiji.lagirame.id) is developed and operated by JijiLabs (developer: Ilyas A. Almadani), Indonesia. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights, in line with Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection. If the Indonesian version and this translation differ, the Indonesian version prevails.
1. Data we collect
- Google account (if you sign in): name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID. We never receive your Google password.
- Apple account (if you sign in with Apple in the iOS app): Apple account ID, email address (this can be an Apple "Hide My Email" relay address) and your name if you choose to share it. We never receive your Apple ID password.
- Chats and attachments: the messages you send, the files you attach and JIJI’s answers, so your history can be reopened.
- JIJI Memory (only if you turn it on): short notes about your preferences. You can view, edit and delete them at any time.
- Usage data: message counts, timestamps and estimated processing cost, for quotas and abuse prevention.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and essential cookies (see Cookies).
- Payments: transaction status and amount from Midtrans (web), Google Play (Android app) or the App Store (iOS app). We do not store your card number, PIN or bank details.
- Answer reports: if you report one of JIJI’s answers, we keep a copy of that answer with your reason and note for review.
2. How we use data
- To run the service: answering messages, saving history, applying Memory.
- To manage accounts, trial quotas and JIJI Plus subscriptions.
- To keep the service safe: rate limits, abuse detection and fraud prevention.
- To improve the service in aggregate. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
3. Third parties that process data
JIJI uses the following service providers. They process data on JIJI’s behalf, only for the listed purpose. We do not sell your data.

- Processing outside Indonesia. Some of these providers are outside Indonesia, including the AI provider in China. When you use JIJI, your messages are processed there to generate answers. Do not put unnecessary sensitive data (such as national ID numbers, bank account numbers, passwords or health data) in a chat.
- AI model training. JIJI does not use your chats to train AI models. The AI provider’s use of data is governed by its API terms.
4. Storage, retention & security
JIJI’s database is stored on servers managed by JijiLabs in Indonesia. Sign-in sessions use HttpOnly cookies and connections are encrypted (HTTPS). How long each kind of data is kept:

When you delete a chat or your account, the data is removed from the live database immediately. Copies in backups are gone within 14 days. Deletion requests by email are processed within 7 business days.
5. Your rights
- Access, correct and delete chats and Memory directly in the app.
- Turn Memory off at any time.
- Delete your account and all its data at any time, directly from the Account menu (see Delete account).
- Request a copy of your data via the Contact page.
6. Cookies
JIJI only uses essential cookies: jiji_sess (sign-in session) and jiji_vid (visitor marker for the guest quota). Preferences such as theme, language and message drafts are stored in your own browser (localStorage). There are no advertising cookies.
7. Children
JIJI is intended for users aged 13 and over. Users under 18 should use JIJI with the consent of a parent or guardian, especially when subscribing.
8. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will announce it on the site before the change takes effect.
